In order to begin sending your campaigns using MailSwift, you have to first create a Sender Identity and connect your Amazon SES account. It is very easy to do even if you've never done it before. Simply watch the video or read the stepwise instructions below to complete this in no time.
Step 1: Create a new user for using with MailSwift
This step requires you to have an Amazon Web Services (AWS) account. Simply, create one if you don't have an account.
Even though you can get the AWS account credentials in many ways, we recommend that you create a new user for MailSWift as you can give only the required permissions and it is easy to manage in case you need to change stuff at a later point in time.
Login to your console, open the Security Credentials page and then follow the steps below...
Step 2: Give the right permissions
You will now attach the requisite permissions to the user you are creating. These permissions enable the app to send emails and show you tracking stats etc.
Step 3: Create a new sender identity in MailSwift
Once you've created the new user in AWS console, shift to the MailSwift app and select Sender Identity option from the New menu. Fill all the details and add a sender identity which will be used to send your email campaigns.
You can add multiple sender identities if you have purchased your license key under AGENCY plan.
Step 4: Verify the email address you just added
MailSwift uses AWS api's to send a verification mail to the email address you just added. Simply click the verification link in that email and follow the instructions to verify that you own the email address.
That's it!! You can now start sending your email campaigns via your Amazon SES account using MailSwift. Go here to watch a quick video that shows how to send a newsletter using MailSwift.
